Coach Kacie Street is a College Station native. She graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in 2003, where she was a First Team All-State selection for volleyball. Coach Street attended Texas A&M University for her undergrad and majored in Kinesiology. She trained with the varsity volleyball team in 2005, and primarily played for the Texas A&M Women's Club team during her collegiate years. In addition to playing, she also coached for Brazos Valley Juniors Volleyball Club. 

 

After her time at Texas A&M, she taught and coached in the Katy Independent School district from 2008-2013, where she taught Physical Education and coached volleyball, basketball, and track. Coach Street also began coaching for Houston Skyline Juniors Volleyball Club in 2010. In 2013 she transitioned out of teaching and took a management role as an Assistant Director for Houston Skyline Juniors.

 

In 2016 Coach Street received her master's degree in Sport Management from Texas A&M University, while continuing as a director for Skyline. In 2017 she accepted a position at College Station High School as an English and A.V.I.D. Elective teacher and coached the freshman volleyball team. In 2018 she was promoted to the Head Volleyball Coach. 

 

This year Coach Street will be teaching A.V.I.D Elective classes and begin her 16th year of coaching. Previously she has lead teams to 6 USAV National Qualifications

 

(2014-2019) including 2 Medal finishes at the Junior National Tournament.

2017 - USAV Girls' Junior Nationals Bronze Medalist 

 

She has also lead teams within the UIL to become Division and District Champions.

Coach Thomas Welle from Huntsville, Texas. He graduated from Huntsville High School in 2012 where he played baseball all four years. He went on to play baseball at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2013, and he also played for the men’s club volleyball team as a setter. He received his Bachelors degree in Sport Management in 2017. He received his Masters degree in Kinesiology from East Texas Baptist University in 2018. While there he served as the graduate assistant for the Sports Information Director in the ETBU athletic department.   

 

Coach Welle taught Physics and chemistry as an instructional aide at Bosqueville ISD in the spring of 2019. While at Bosqueville he helped lead the Bulldogs to a District Championship in baseball as a volunteer assistant coach. The Bulldogs were also the regional semifinalist in 2019.

After one year at Bosqueville, Coach Welle became the character lab teacher at Wellborn Middle School for the 2019-2020 school year. In 2020 he also served as an assistant softball coach for the College Station Lady Cougars. He currently teaches World Geography for the Cougars!

Coach Bryce Brunner is a Wisconsin native. He graduated from Howards Grove High School in 2008, where he was 3-Time Champion for Sheboygan County UCC.  He served in the United States Army as well as attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Texas A&M University.  During his time in the military he served almost 4 years as a Survey and Meteorological Artillery Crew Member.  Coach Brunner completed his bachelor's degree in Biology from Texas A&M University in 2018.

 

During his time in the military, Coach Brunner played on the Ft. Riley volleyball team as a  setter and defensive specialist from 2012-2013.  With his transition to civilian life, Coach Brunner took up sand volleyball and competed in Texas competitive sand tournaments. He also trained with the Texas A&M University Men’s Volleyball Club team as a defensive specialist in 2017.

 

Coach Brunner completed his student teaching at College Station High School. He taught Pre-AP Biology and Environmental Systems during the 2nd semester of the 2017-2018 School Year.  During his student teaching he also assisted in coaching CSHS Track & Field, primarily woking with throwers in the field events.  After he completed his degree, he accepted a job at College Station High School teaching Physics and IPC.

 

Coach Brunner is excited to be part of a dedicated culture that gives amazing support and strives for greatness.

Bryce Brunner

Coach Hans is from Corpus Christi, TX. She graduated from Calallen high school. She went on to play 4 years of college volleyball at Texas A&M University where she was a 2-time All-American, as well as receiving All-SEC honors. Graduating in 2020, she received her bachelors degree in Sport Conditioning-coaching and leadership.

After graduation, she moved to the Fort Worth area for a club volleyball coaching position. Coach Hollann is excited to now join the College Station High School family to coach and work in the Special Ed department.

Coach Chambers is a Tarleton alumni who has bled purple for a long time. She was raised in Kerrville, TX. Hannah has been a teacher and coach since 2016 and has had a passion for education since 5th grade. Her passion lead her to pursue a degree in education and to teach English. She played volleyball for 10 years and threw discus and javelin at Tarleton State University. She will pursue her Masters in Education in the near future from Texas A&M.

 

Hannah comes to CSHS from Snook ISD where she served as the head volleyball coach from 2018 to 2021. During her time there she lead the varsity team to an three playoff appearances. She is very excited to be joining the CSHS team and can’t wait to be part of the program

Coach Dayton Isbell is also a College Station native. She graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in 2011 where she received All-State honors in softball and was inducted into the CSISD Hall of Fame.  She went on to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor where she played softball and received her degree in Biology.

 

Coach Isbell taught Biology and coached volleyball and softball at College Station High School from 2016-2018. She then left to teach and coach at Wellborn Middle School from 2018-2020 where she led the Warhawks to a district title in 2018 and a second place finish in 2019. Coach Isbell is excited to be returning to College Station High School!
